 ngland. Most of our homes\, even modern ones\, are poorly designed for thi
 s\, which may cause extremely uncomfortable or even dangerous conditions i
 ndoors\, especially for the young and the elderly. This talk will show wha
 t you can do to stay cooler in a heatwave: Improve the shading of your hom
 e with awnings\, blinds\, shutters\, etc. Ventilate your home effectively 
 when its cooler outdoors at night Keep yourself cooler\, even in a hot roo
