  how these concepts have been theorised and researched over time\, where d
 ebates currently stand\, and where new directions might take us.Meet our s
 peakers and chairSarah Marie Hall is Professor in Human Geography at the U
 niversity of Manchester. Her research in geographical feminist political e
 conomy has examined family life and economic change\; ethics\, care and co
 nsumption\, and feminist praxis. She is the author of Everyday life in aus
 terity: family\, friends and intimate relations (Palgrave Macmillan\, 2019
 ).Shirin Rai is Distinguished Research Professor of Politics and Internati
 onal Relations and a Fellow of the British Academy. She is an interdiscipl
 inary scholar working on gender\, governance and development\, and gender 
 and political institutions. Her most recent book is Performing representat
 ion: women members in the Indian parliament (OUP\, 2019).Laura Antona is\
 nAssistant Professor of Human Geography. She is a feminist geographer whos
 e work\nexamines migration\, domesticity\, labour\, home\, and care. She i
 s currently\nwriting a book that examines the legacy of forced migrant rem
