New Scientist’s Alison Flood speaks with the judging panel for this year’s Royal Society Trivedi Science Book Prize who will be revealing the 2026 shortlist.
Since 1988, the Prize has celebrated outstanding popular science writing with notable winners including Bill Bryson, Stephen Hawking, and Camilla Pang, with some of the Prize’s previous judges including such eminent authors and science communicators as Sir David Attenborough, Terry Pratchett, Brian Cox and Roma Agrawal.
