Low-stim Openings of the 'Audrey Amiss' and 'Rudy Loewe' exhibitions

Wellcome Collection

August 6

Gallery 2

What you'll do

Join us for a low-stim opening of the exhibitions ‘Audrey Amiss: The Surviving Exhibitions' and ‘Rudy Loewe: Intimacies of Care – Spaces of Grief and Possibility’.

Low-stim openings provide a calm environment. They are designed to reduce additional sensory stimulation like loud noises, bright lights and strong scents.

You will find:

  • fewer people in the exhibitions
  • lower light levels in the gallery and around the building
  • lower sound levels in the gallery and around the building
  • visitors are encouraged to keep phones on silent and to speak quietly
  • visitors and staff are encouraged not to wear strong scents

The rest of our building will be closed to other visitors so you’ll need to book at ticket to attend.
