Low-stim Openings of the 'Audrey Amiss' and 'Rudy Lowe' exhibitions

Wellcome Collection

August 6

Gallery 2

Join us for a low stim opening of the exhibitions ‘Audrey Amiss: The Surviving Exhibitions' and ‘Rudy Loewe: Intimacies of Care – Spaces of Grief and Possibility’.

Low stim openings provide a calm environment. They are designed to reduce additional sensory stimulation like loud noises, bright lights and strong scents.

You will find:

  • Fewer people in the exhibitions
  • Lower light levels in the gallery and around the building
  • Lower sound levels in the gallery and around the building
  • Visitors are encouraged to keep phones on silent and to speak quietly
  • Visitors and staff are encouraged not to wear strong scents.

The rest of the museum building will be closed to other visitors so you’ll need to book at ticket to attend.
