The Royal Society

July 4

The Royal Society

This activity is part of the Royal Society's Summer Science Exhibition 2026.

Tetbury Police Museum and Courtroom aims to tell the story of policing from the Victorians to recent times. Join them at the Summer Science Exhibition to learn how science has changed policing and crime detection over the years.

Get hands-on with forensic activities, including fingerprinting (which has a long history in police detection), the study of geometry in blood splatter analysis, and chromatography (the analysis of the make-up of ink). Step into their lab and learn about the science of detection and help find the criminal!

Tetbury Police Museum and Courtroom has been funded through the Places of Science grant scheme.

This event will be held in City of London 1 at the Royal Society on Saturday 4 July 2026, 10am – 6pm.
