July 4

The Royal Society

This event is part of the Royal Society's Summer Science Exhibition 2026.

As part of Attenborough at 100: a weekend of wildlife, this programme of documentaries spans seven decades of wildlife filmmaking by Britain's best-loved naturalist.

In this programme, you'll see Sir David search for strange creatures in Madagascar, deliver an iconic Royal Institution Christmas Lecture, discuss dinosaurs at the Natural History Museum and uncover bizarre creatures of the earliest seas.

Feel free to watch films in full or to just drop in and enjoy them in part as you explore the Summer Science Exhibition.

This event will be held in Theatre 2 at the Royal Society on Saturday 4 July and Sunday 5 July from opening until 12.30pm.
