What does your brain say about your beliefs?
Dr Leor Zmigrod, political psychologist, neuroscientist and member of the UKYA, works at the forefront of the emerging field of political neuroscience. Through her research, she seeks to explore the psychological and biological reasons why some people might be more susceptible to extreme ideologies than others.
As the world around us grows more complex, understanding how we form our beliefs – and how they, in turn, shape us – is increasingly important. Join Dr Zmigrod to explore how our brains come to reflect the ideologies we hold, and what that might mean for how we think, connect, and engage.
This talk will be held on Tuesday 1 July 2025, 7.45pm – 8.15pm.
